This appeal form is to be used if you are appealing grades of F and WF to be changed to W. If your failing grades were due to extenuating circumstances, you may be eligible to appeal to the Academic Standing Committee. This form can be used for both graduate and undergraduate.
The Academic Standing Committee can only review circumstances related to grade assignments for withdrawals. All other grade appeals must be handled according to the procedures outlined in the Kennesaw State Catalog.
A completed instructor form for each course you are appealing must be attached in Section 3.
Your KSU email is the email in which you will be notified regarding your appeal. If you do not have an active KSU email account, you may provide an alternate email address.
You will be notified by your KSU email if your appeal is incomplete. Appeals deemed incomplete will require resubmission of a completed appeal form.
Appeals received after the posted deadline will be deferred to the next meeting.
- Complete sections 1-4 of the appeal form (all sections are required).
- Attach the REQUIRED documentation requested on the appeal form.
- Write your name and KSU ID# at the top of each documentation page.
- All documentation must be submitted when you submit your appeal. Any documentation submitted after you submit the appeal may not be used for consideration. Supporting statements cannot be from family members. Supporting statements must be SIGNED and on professional letterhead.
